Job summary

Chemist Warehouse in Melbourne is seeking a Product Developer for a fixed-term 12-month contract within the Imports team. You will support end-to-end product development of private label and promotional items, from research through to launch, collaborating with suppliers and stores to ensure accurate documentation and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Professional work experience in Healthcare or Retail.
• Basic understanding of product development, sourcing and/or retail processes.
• Basic commercial awareness, including an understanding of product cost, pricing and margins.
• Experience with SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PD Team with researching, sourcing and identifying new product opportunities across private label brands and promotional items.
• Compile and coordinate New Line Form information for new products and submit completed forms for new line creation.
• Assist with preparation of Graphics Briefs for new packaging, artwork updates and other design requirements.
• Collect production information from suppliers and review/approve product documentation and reports (PSSRs, PMFs).
• Support store enquiries and requests, including stock splits and general product queries.
• Maintain the Credit Tracker and action credit requests in a timely manner.
• International travel may be required to attend trade shows and supplier meetings.
