Job summary

Princess Polly Online Pty Ltd is seeking a Product Developer for a 12-month fixed contract at our Burleigh Heads location. You will turn in-house designs into fully realized products, working closely with Design, Suppliers and Supply Chain to move the pipeline with precision.

The role emphasizes timely tech packs, data accuracy, and collaboration to hit margin targets while supporting Lower Impact product goals. This is a fast-paced opportunity within a growing global team.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Design, Pattern Making, or Grading (preferred).
• Strong understanding of tech packs, garment specs, and pattern making/grading fundamentals.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence suppliers.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A keen eye for detail, fit, quality, and emerging fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• Process and fit styles monthly, ensuring on-time delivery and specs.
• Manage data entry across systems to keep the critical path seamless.
• Support margin targets and LI product goals with Design.
• Review tech packs and drive end-to-end progression from concept to production.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and factories.
• Support QA through accurate measurements and fit session follow-ups.

Princess Polly is on the hunt for a Product Developer to turn our exclusive in-house designs into beautifully executed products delivered to our customers. You’ll work closely with Design, Suppliers, and Supply Chain to keep our product pipeline moving with precision, passion, and purpose.

What you'll do

• Process and fit styles monthly, ensuring all designs are delivered on time and to spec.
• Manage accurate and timely data entry across systems to keep the critical path seamless.
• Partner with Design to support margin targets and contribute to Lower Impact (LI) product goals.
• Review tech packs, action fit comments, and drive end‑to‑end style progression from concept through production.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and factories.
• Support quality assurance through accurate measurements, spec adherence, and thorough fit session follow‑ups.
• Work closely with Supply Chain to maintain timelines, raw material planning, and on‑time delivery of samples.

What success looks like

• Process tech packs and samples weekly, accurately and on time, maintaining category margins.
• Deliver styles from concept to ex‑factory within 8 weeks, using no more than two samples.
• Send fit comments within 24 hours to keep development moving.
• Achieve category‑level return rates at or below benchmarks.
• Actively contribute to a solutions‑focused, high‑performing team culture.

What you'll need

• Tertiary qualifications in Design, Pattern Making, or Grading (preferred) OR relevant product development experience.
• Strong understanding of tech packs, garment specs, and pattern making/grading fundamentals.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Excel, and industry‑standard software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence suppliers.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• A keen eye for detail, fit, quality, and emerging fashion trends.
