Job summary

Princess Polly, a global fashion brand, is seeking a Merchandise Assistant on the Gold Coast to support Buying & Design in bringing ranges from concept to launch. You’ll help manage product data, POs and range plans while collaborating with Buyers, Designers and Trend Leaders in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, love data, and enjoy working with cross-functional teams. 1–2 years of merchandising experience and strong Excel are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years merchandise experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience using Style Arcade, Inventory Planner, and/or Shopify is highly regarded.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the buying & design teams throughout the product buying cycle.
• Create, maintain and update product information and Purchase Orders across multiple systems.
• Manage range plans, inventory logs and buy plans to ensure data is current.
• Complete weekly sales reporting, stock analysis and category reporting to support trading decisions.
• Conduct competitor and trend analysis to identify opportunities within categories.
• Work cross functionally to move products from concept to customer.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and assist in resolving product, invoice and PO queries.

As part of our Merchandise team, you'll work alongside talented Buyers, Designers and Trend Leaders while being supported by an experienced leadership team that's invested in your development. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the buying & design teams throughout the product buying cycle
• Create, maintain and update product information and Purchase Orders across multiple systems
• Manage range plans, inventory logs and buy plans to ensure product data remains current.
• Complete weekly sales reporting, stock analysis and category reporting to support trading decisions
• Conduct competitor and trend analysis to help identify opportunities within your categories.
• Work cross functionally to ensure products move seamlessly from concept to customer
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and assist in resolving product, invoice and Purchase Order queries.

• Product and Purchase Order data is accurate and up to date.
• Reports are delivered on time and provide valuable insights
• Samples, inventory records and documentation are organised and easily accessible.
• Cross-functional teams can rely on you to keep information flowing and projects on track.
• You proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and support team efficiency.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

• 1-2 years merchandise experience
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.
• Experience using Style Arcade, Inventory Planner, and/or Shopify (highly regarded).
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new systems, tools, ai and technology.
• An interest in fashion, trends and the product development process.
