ZEISS Vision Care in Tonsley, South Australia is seeking a Purchasing and Warehouse Officer to support procurement and warehouse operations across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and safety regulations. The role involves stock management, freight coordination, and order processing in a hands-on environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, maintain accurate records, and promote efficient, safe warehouse practices while supporting the ZEISS

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in warehouse operations or related field.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in a hands-on environment.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials to maintain Rx Lab operations.
• Ensure MSDS are provided and accessible in the Chem-Watch system.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic audits.
• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries; operate reach trucks/forklifts as required.
• Arrange local, interstate, and international freight; prepare consignment docs.
• Process customer orders including picking, packing, and labeling.
• Monitor freight forwarders and review invoices; allocate charges to cost centres.
• Identify efficiency improvements in warehouse workflows.
