Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Forecast raw materials for customers using MRP systems.
• Process jobs for raw materials and other components required.
• Source and negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times with local film and other substrate suppliers.
• Purchase orders, delivery scheduling, and coordinating with suppliers to prevent downtime.
• Invoicing customer orders.

Administration role within the Purchasing Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecasting raw materials for customers – MRP (system based)
• Processing Jobs for raw material / other components required.
• Sourcing & Supplier Relations: Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and lead times with local film and other substrate suppliers
• Purchasing & Logistics: Issue purchase orders, monitor raw material delivery schedules, and coordinate with suppliers to prevent production downtime.
• Invoicing Customer Orders

Key Requirements

• Preferred: Background in flexible manufacturing (e.g., flexible packaging, lamination, converted films, or polymers) and strong knowledge of film structures (peelable films, barrier layers, co-extrusions, or laminates).
• Proven background in procurement, purchasing, and estimating within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical aptitude for reading product specifications, attention to detail and manufacturing processors.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word / Excel and ERP/MRP systems would be an added advantage.
