Job summary

Beon Energy Solutions seeks a Procurement & Subcontract Specialist (12-month parental leave cover) to join the Contracts and Procurement team, delivering supplier and subcontractor agreements that support major projects and profitability.

You will work with project delivery, engineering, legal, finance and risk teams to manage procurement governance, RFx documentation, supplier assessment and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Law or similar field.
• Strong contracting principles and legal terminology understanding.
• Experience in Australian renewable energy industry preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building at project level.
• Experience drafting project agreements (confidentiality, early works, supply, construction, services and consulting).

Responsibilities

• Review and provide inputs on commercial and contractual matters for tender/proposal submissions to customers.
• Support the sourcing and procurement of goods and services for projects and the business, including guidance on procurement governance, development/review of project procurement plans, inputs for RFx, and supplier/subcontractor assessments.
• Manage the subcontract review process with inputs from engineering, project delivery, procurement, legal, finance, risk and insurance.
• Support Beon’s contractual arrangements including insurance renewals, internal audit, third party claims.
• Manage or support projects to improve delivery and impact of Contracts and Procurement services.
