You will lead end-to-end procurement and contract management for engineering and professional services across major project environments on a contract to 26/10/2027, with hybrid working arrangements.

Pay rate: $90-97 + super per hour

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Procurement Specialist. In this role you will lead end-to-end procurement and contract management for engineering and professional services across a major project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drive engineering and professional services category strategies and continuous improvement.

Develop and embed category management strategies with new and existing partners.

Monitor contract health, category spend, compliance and reporting metrics.

Provide procurement coaching and advice for engagements under framework agreements.

Ensure contracts comply with governance, compliance and execution requirements.

Collaborate with project leads, engineers, site-based construction teams and delivery professionals.

About You

Demonstrated end-to-end procurement and contracts experience across capital studies and projects.

Experience delivering value across engineering and professional services categories.

Proven ability to make procurement decisions independently rather than provide support only.

Strong category management, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong analytical, commercial and presentation capabilities.

Ability to work autonomously while contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.

Brisbane-based and able to undertake occasional Monday-to-Friday site travel.
