Job summary

Vadals is seeking a motivated Purchasing Officer to join our team in Richlands, Queensland. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will ensure stock availability and manage supplier relationships across local and overseas suppliers.

You will play a key role in coordinating with Sales, Administration and Warehouse teams, reviewing supplier information, and maintaining accurate ERP data while assisting forecasting and inventory planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchasing, Procurement and Supplier negotiations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders across a wide range of products and suppliers.
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to ensure timely stock delivery.
• Monitor and track orders, provide updates to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate stock requirements with Sales, Administration and Warehouse teams.
• Review supplier information and product specifications.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies between invoices and POs.
• Source new suppliers and analyse costs.
• Process supplier invoices for payment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing data in the ERP system.
• Assist with forecasting and inventory planning.
