Rest, one of Australia’s largest profit-to-member super funds, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead technology and digital sourcing for a 12-month fixed-term.

You will partner with stakeholders to maximise value from supplier arrangements, balancing cost, risk and strategic objectives to deliver outcomes for members. This role suits a senior procurement professional with strong technology-category experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce or related field.
• 7–10 years’ experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, ideally in financial services with technology focus.
• Proven experience in business case development, RFP design, supplier selection, contract negotiation, execution and management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-management across senior internal stakeholders and external service providers.
• Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks with material service providers.

• Lead strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and execution across technology categories (software, hardware, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure).
• Build and execute category and sourcing plans with business owners; translate requirements into procurement strategies and supplier outcomes.
• Deliver commercial value and supplier value-adds through competitive sourcing and disciplined contract management.
• Analyse technology spend, identify optimisation and cost-reduction opportunities, and report benefits achieved.
• Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, technology suppliers and procurement colleagues to support informed decisions.

• Lead strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and execution activities across technology categories, including software, hardware, SaaS, cloud and infrastructure.
• Build and execute category and sourcing plans with business owners, translating business requirements into effective procurement strategies and supplier outcomes.
• Deliver commercial value and supplier value-adds through competitive sourcing, negotiation and disciplined contract management.
• Analyse technology spend, identify optimisation and cost-reduction opportunities, and report benefits achieved through strategic sourcing activities.
• Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, technology suppliers and procurement colleagues to support informed and timely decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce or a related field.
• Seven to ten years’ experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, ideally in financial services and with significant technology-category experience.
• Proven experience in business case development, RFP design, supplier selection, contract negotiation, execution and contract management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-management capability across senior internal stakeholders and external service providers.
• Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks, including obligations associated with material service providers.
