Job summary

Rest is seeking a Manager, Sustainable Service Providers & Operations to build Rest's climate-first procurement approach and oversee vendor management across service providers. The role supports climate-related disclosures and collaborates with finance to manage emissions data and materiality for the organization.

The successful candidate will weave sustainability into procurement, due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing management while aligning with our broader regulatory and reporting

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a vendor management, procurement or supply chain function focused on sustainability and modern slavery risks.
• Experience in financial services or large corporate organisations; superannuation experience would be highly regarded.
• Experience developing and implementing sustainable procurement and vendor management frameworks.
• Experience managing sustainability or climate-related data, including greenhouse gas inventories, emissions reductions programmes and reporting.
• Experience supporting regulatory disclosures, assurance processes, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a climate-first sustainability approach for Rest's vendors, including methodologies to identify, assess, monitor and manage climate-related risks and opportunities including modern slavery risks.
• Integrate climate change considerations into procurement and vendor management processes, including partnering with service provider managers to support due diligence, onboarding, contract requirements, and ongoing service provider management.
• Work closely with Finance to lead the measurement, management and reporting of workplace greenhouse gas emissions, particularly scope 3 service provider emissions management.
• Report into and contribute to the deliverables of the climate-related disclosure project.

Supporting the climate‑related financial disclosures project and working closely with finance and investments, the role aims to assess and formalise Rest's management of climate‑related risks and determine materiality in the context of Rest's workplace.

• Develop and implement a climate‑first sustainability approach for Rest's vendors, including methodologies to identify, assess, monitor and manage climate‑related risks and opportunities including modern slavery risks
