Job summary

Core Talent is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead purchasing, supplier relationships and inventory management. You will develop sourcing strategies, improve supply chain efficiency and drive supplier performance to meet operational and commercial objectives.

You will lead a purchasing team, optimise costs, manage stock, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to source new products while ensuring ethical sourcing and compliance.

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
• Experience leading a team and managing purchasing processes.
• Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing inventory levels, demand forecasting and continuity of supply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market trends, supplier performance and purchasing costs to identify savings and reduce supply chain risks.
• Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting and purchasing activities to maintain stock levels and minimise stockouts.
• Lead and develop the purchasing team, ensuring targets and operational requirements are achieved.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving and supplier deliveries to meet specifications and timeframes.
• Identify and assess alternative suppliers to strengthen resilience and pricing.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to source and develop new products.
• Monitor product quality, supplier audits and ethical sourcing compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, inventory control and supply chain processes.
• Prepare performance reports, monitor KPIs and contribute to strategic business planning.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, relevant regulations and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Understanding of ethical sourcing, supplier compliance and quality assurance processes.
• Relevant qualifications in procurement or supply chain management, or equivalent industry experience.
