Located in Western Port on the Mornington Peninsula (70km south-east of Melbourne), the Port of Hastings is a Victorian state-owned commercial port. The Port of Hastings Corporation (PoHC), a Victorian Government owned entity within the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) portfolio, manages landside port operations and infrastructure.
For 60 years, the Port has provided a critical gateway for Victoria’s supply chain and energy sectors, handling approximately 25% of Victoria’s fuel imports. PoHC is committed to operating a safe, sustainable and vibrant deep-water port, while supporting the State’s broader transport, infrastructure and economic objectives.
With the development of the Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal (VRET), PoHC is also playing an important role in Victoria’s clean energy transition and supporting the future of offshore wind. VRET represents a significant opportunity to support the delivery of major renewable energy infrastructure and establish the Port of Hastings as a key component of Victoria’s future offshore wind industry.
We're looking for someone who brings the right mix of experience, capability and approach to be successful in the role.
This is a newly created role supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of procurement for the proposed Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal (VRET). You will help build the VRET project procurement function, including processes, systems, reporting and continuous improvement.
