Job summary

ABC Australian Building & Construction Group in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, is seeking a procurement professional to lead sourcing, onboarding and management of our trade and supplier panel. You will negotiate terms, oversee licensing, insurance and compliance, and align panel capabilities with job needs.

You will partner with Project Managers and QA teams to ensure safe, compliant trades on site, drive supplier performance, and deliver end-to-end supply chain visibility during CAT events.

Qualifications

• Experience sourcing and onboarding supplier panels with compliance checks.
• Ability to negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts.
• Proven ability to build durable supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Source, onboard and manage ABC Group's trade and supplier panel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing, onboarding and managing ABC Group's trade and supplier panel, including negotiating commercial terms, insurances, licensing and compliance requirements.
• Building and maintaining our tiered trade model - matching core and tier trades to jobs and running the QA process that keeps workmanship and pricing on track.
• Partnering with Project Managers, Supervisors, Safety and the Assessing team to make sure the right trades are on the right jobs, and that new trades are safe and compliant before work is allocated.
• Managing key account relationships with material suppliers, negotiating bulk-buy and rebate arrangements that benefit the wider business.
• Owning supply chain performance end-to-end - forecasting demand, closing capacity gaps and keeping things moving during catastrophe (CAT) events.
• Running regular panel reviews, tenders and reporting to keep leadership across procurement savings, supplier performance and panel coverage.
