Job summary

Fleetwood Australia is leading the modular building revolution in Australia, seeking a hands-on Procurement Officer to support procurement and supply outcomes across modular manufacturing.

You will work with site, estimating, manufacturing and project teams to source materials and services on time and to specification, balancing purchasing, supplier coordination and cost awareness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a procurement or purchasing role, ideally within construction or manufacturing.
• Sound understanding of the building industry and relevant Australian standards.
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Proficiency preparing RFQs, supporting negotiations and evaluating supplier responses.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods and services in line with project specifications and procurement schedules
• Create and manage purchase orders, requisitions and variations
• Coordinate with suppliers to achieve DIFOT (delivery in full, on time) outcomes
• Monitor procurement schedules and flag risks, delays or supply issues early
• Resolve supply, product, invoicing and credit issues
• Complete quantity take-offs and support estimating with pricing requirements
• Maintain accurate procurement records, databases and supplier information
• Identify cost-saving or process improvement opportunities and escalate as appropriate
