Job summary

Easy Skill is seeking an experienced Procurement & Contract Administrator to lead procurement strategy, manage subcontracts, and administer large-scale EPC contracts across oil & gas and energy projects. You will oversee site logistics, ensure HSE compliance, and provide rigorous cost control and reporting to project leadership.

The role requires strong English communication, leadership of cross-functional teams, and deep knowledge of AS 2124/AS 4000/AS 4902 or FIDIC contracts.

Qualifications

• Degree in procurement, supply chain, business, law, quantity surveying, or engineering, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in procurement, site logistics, or contract administration on oil & gas, pipeline, or major energy infra projects.
• 8+ years of relevant experience for manager-level roles with team leadership.
• Direct understanding of site operational demands, vendor management, and remote logistics challenges.
• Solid knowledge of contract administration frameworks (AS 2124/AS 4000/AS 4902 or FIDIC).
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Pronto, Procore).
• Knowledge of pipeline components is strongly preferred.
• Full professional English proficiency for drafting contracts and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy & Execution: Build and execute the project procurement plan and manage supplier prequalification.
• Subcontracts Management: Tender, negotiate, and manage subcontracts; lead commercial close-out for specialist packages.
• Contract Administration: Administer contracts using AS/FIDIC forms; handle variations, progress claims, and disputes.
• Site Logistics & Materials Control: Coordinate transport, customs, and laydown areas for remote sites.
• Supply Chain HSE Compliance: Ensure health, safety and environmental standards across vendors and subcontractors.
• Commercial Reporting & Cost Control: Monitor procurement commitments, risks, and variances for leadership.
