Job summary

PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA is seeking a Procurement and Contract Officer to develop and manage low-risk contracts, supporting planning and ensuring compliance with the WA Procurement Act 2020. The role involves liaising with internal teams and external service providers to ensure quality contract documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and contract management.
• Knowledge of WA Procurement Act 2020 and related regulations.
• Ability to liaise with internal/external stakeholders to develop contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to planning, formation, contract management and review of low-risk agreements.
• Monitor compliance with the WA Procurement Act and other contract management acts/regulations.
• Assist Procurement Managers to define organisational procurement needs and develop documentation.
• Develop and manage allocated low-risk contracts in line with applicable Acts and PathWest requirements.
• Liaise with contract users and service providers and incorporate input into contract development.
