Job summary

Suntory Oceania is seeking a Procurement Category Specialist (Logistics & Warehousing) to join the Procurement team. You will shape strategic sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive value across logistics, warehousing, and customer equipment portfolios.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics Operations, and global procurement teams to deliver commercial outcomes, build strategic supplier partnerships, and keep our logistics network

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain.
  • Strong supplier relationship and contract management experience.
  • Commercial negotiation skills with a track record of delivering value and cost savings.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience working with procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa, eSourcing platforms, or spend analytics tools.
  • A collaborative approach combined with curiosity and a desire to continuously improve.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and execution of category strategies across logistics, warehousing, and customer equipment.

We're looking for a Procurement Category Specialist (Logistics & Warehousing) to join our Procurement team and help shape the future of one of Suntory Oceania's most critical spend categories. Reporting to the Logistics & Warehousing Category Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and value creation across our logistics, warehousing, and customer equipment portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across the business, partnering with Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics Operations, and global procurement teams to drive commercial outcomes, build strategic supplier partnerships, and ensure our logistics network remains competitive, resilient, and fit for the future.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and execution of category strategies across logistics, warehousing, and customer equipment.
  • Leading and supporting strategic sourcing and tender activities.
  • Building strong supplier partnerships and driving supplier performance improvements.
  • Negotiating and managing commercial contracts to maximise value and minimise risk.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation, demand management, and process improvements.
  • Monitoring market trends and supplier performance to proactively manage risk and business continuity.
  • Leveraging procurement systems and data insights to track performance, savings, and value delivery.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders locally, regionally, and globally to implement best-practice procurement strategies

You're a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys building relationships, solving complex challenges, and delivering tangible business outcomes. You bring a strategic mindset alongside strong analytical and negotiation skills, and you're comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain, preferably within logistics, warehousing, freight, or FMCG environments.
  • Strong supplier relationship and contract management experience.
  • Commercial negotiation skills with a track record of delivering value and cost savings.
  • The ability to analyse data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience working with procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa, eSourcing platforms, or spend analytics tools.
  • A collaborative approach combined with curiosity and a desire to continuously improve.
