What is the opportunity? | He aha te kōwhiringa?

We're looking for an experienced Integrated Quality Systems Manager to join us on a fixed-term contract, covering a valued team member during an internal secondment.

Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Director, you'll play a critical role in leading and evolving our Integrated Management System (IMS) across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring world-class standards across Food Safety, Quality Management, Supplier & Third-Party Quality Assurance, and Environmental Management.

While this role has responsibility across the broader Oceania network, there will be a strong focus on supporting our Swanbank manufacturing site, helping to embed best practice quality systems, strengthen compliance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You'll work closely with site and functional leaders to ensure quality and food safety standards are consistently delivered while contributing to the ongoing maturity of our quality culture.

This is a highly influential role that sits at the centre of our quality strategy, partnering with teams across Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, R&D and Sustainability. You'll also lead the development of our multi-site FSSC 22000 accreditation programme and help drive capability, consistency and operational excellence across the network.

Given the nature of the role, regular travel across Australia and New Zealand will be required to support site engagement, system deployment, auditing activities and stakeholder collaboration.

This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys balancing strategic systems leadership with hands-on operational engagement, making a tangible impact across a growing and dynamic manufacturing network.

You're a quality professional who thrives on building systems, influencing stakeholders and driving continuous improvement across complex operations.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Strong experience developing, implementing and maintaining food safety and quality management systems
  • Proven knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks such as FSSC 22000, GFSI, supplier quality and environmental management systems
  • Experience conducting supplier, manufacturing or certification audits
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a practical approach to risk management
  • Experience within food, beverage, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environments

In addition, experience in project management, capability development, training and ANZ food standards would be highly regarded.

If you're not an expert in all these areas, don't worry. A lot of what we look for is how you align with our values and your ability to bring your unique skills and experience to the team.

What’s in it for you? I He aha te mea e whiwhi ai koe?
  • Grow your career – we like to promote from within and have incredible learning and development opportunities around the world

  • Flexible working – flexible hours and hybrid working
  • We are committed to giving back to our communities, so we provide you with volunteer leave to do so
  • A Suntory Day – enjoy your birthday off!

At Suntory Oceania, you'll join a team passionate about quality, innovation and making a positive impact for our consumers, customers and communities.
