Job summary

Ignite in Canberra is seeking an experienced EL1 Procurement Capability & Contract Management Lead to drive capability development, strengthen governance, deliver practical training, and provide senior advice on complex procurement and contract matters.

Located in Canberra with hybrid flexibility, the role is a 12-month non-Ongoing/S26 transfer and offers a salary range of AUD 125,863–143,171 plus super, depending on experience. A Baseline Security Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or relevant qualification in Government Procurement or contract management is desirable but not essential.

• Lead procurement and contract management frameworks, tools and guidance.
• Deliver practical training, workshops and learning resources.
• Provide senior advice on complex procurement, contracts, disputes and compliance.
• Act as an escalation point for complex matters and support decision-making.

About The Role: The organisation is looking for an experienced EL1 Procurement Capability & Contract Management Lead to lead capability development, strengthen frameworks and governance, deliver practical training, and provide senior advice on complex procurement and contract matters.

Level/Classification: EL1

Contract Type: The position is for a non-Ongoing or S26 transfer

Contract Duration: 12 months

Location: Canberra, ACT | Hybrid flexibility

Department Proposed Rate: $125,863 - $143,171 Per Annum + Super (depending on experience)

Qualifications: A Certificate IV or relevant qualification in Government Procurement, contract management or equivalent experience is desirable, but not essential.

Requirements:

• MUST have a minimum Baseline Security Clearance held prior to commencement
