Job summary

Rashi Joshi is seeking an experienced EL1 Procurement Capability & Contract Management Lead to shape procurement maturity during a period of organisational transformation. You will develop frameworks, policies, and guidance while advising senior leaders on complex issues and building capability across the workforce.

The role is hands-on and leadership-focused, with responsibility to influence strategy, governance, and sustainable change within a Canberra-based, hybrid team.

• Support and upskill the procurement function to drive sustainable change.

This role will play a critical part in shaping the agency's procurement and contract management maturity at a time of change and growth.

Your new role

As the EL1 Procurement Capability & Contract Management Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement and contract management frameworks, policies, guidance materials, and best-practice processes that will support the organisation now and into the future. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide trusted advice on complex procurement and contract management issues while building capability across the organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will have the opportunity to influence strategy, improve governance, and drive sustainable change. Reporting within a collaborative team of procurement professionals, you will also act as a senior escalation point for complex procurement and contract-related matters.
