Job summary

Tassal Group is seeking an experienced Processing Supervisor to lead our prawn processing team at the Proserpine facility. You will drive safety, quality and production performance while developing a high-performing crew.

This role offers a clear pathway to broader operational management, with autonomy to champion continuous improvement and build workforce capability across two production sites in the Whitsundays region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory experience in FMCG manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and production performance drivers.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and results-focused.
• Forklift licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop processing operators and team leaders to achieve production targets.
• Oversee two production sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coach and train team members to build capability and high performance.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain efficient workflow.
