Gold Fields is seeking a Processing Coordinator to oversee daily operations of our gold processing facilities, lead the process teams, and ensure delivery of safe, efficient production within budget and quality standards. The role is FIFO from Perth and supports continuous improvement and environmental compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of mineral processing plant operations, preferably within a gold processing environment.
• Statutory Supervisor Certificate (Section 26) is required.
• Strong understanding of safety systems including PTW, isolation procedures and risk management.
• Experience with the ICMI Cyanide Code is highly regarded in processing operations.
• Proven leadership: coaching, mentoring and developing personnel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills across processing, maintenance and technical teams.
• Proactive approach to CI, production optimisation, environmental compliance and operational excellence.
• WA manual driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily processing plant operations and crews to achieve safe, efficient and reliable production outcomes.
• Provide visible safety leadership, ensuring PTW, risk management and isolation systems compliance.
• Drive budgeted production performance (tonnes treated, gold produced, plant recovery) while optimising plant availability.
• Lead, coach and develop operations personnel with performance management processes.
• Maintain effective communication between operations, maintenance, metallurgy and site teams to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards and the Cyanide Code.
• Identify and implement CI initiatives to improve safety, stability, productivity and cost efficiency.
