Job summary
Alkane Resources Ltd. seeks an experienced Processing Manager to lead our Central West NSW processing team, focusing on safe, efficient and reliable production.
The role emphasizes delivering strong plant performance, driving recovery and throughput improvements, and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement. Based at Tomingley, you will help optimise metallurgical performance, support the upcoming open pit expansion in 2027, and contribute to sustaining value across operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a CIL Gold processing plant.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Processing Strategies and Management Plans ensuring they meet statutory and company requirements.
- Provide regular communication to the site team on performance and future plans.
- Create and support an environment of continuous improvement.
- Manage and coordinate the annual budget and life of mine update and quarterly re-forecasting process.
- Identify departmental site hazards and ensure controls are implemented.
- Ensure monthly reporting meets group timetables.
