Job summary

Tassal Group is seeking Casual Processing Attendants to join our Margate team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help process and package fresh salmon products in a fast-paced production environment. Training will be provided, and you’ll be supported as you learn new skills and grow with Tassal.

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who thrive in a team. Availability Monday to Friday on a casual basis, the ability to start immediately, and a current driver’s licence are important.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environments is welcome.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable in a cold environment with attention to hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Process and package fresh salmon products as part of a production team.
• Operate equipment used to cut, weigh and package products.
• Help maintain product quality and hit production targets.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working as part of a production team processing fresh salmon products
• Operating equipment used to cut, weigh and package products
• Helping maintain product quality and production targets
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements
• Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised

What We're Looking For

• Available to work Monday to Friday on a casual basis
• Ready to start immediately
• Comfortable working in a cold food processing environment
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to communicate well and work as part of a team
• Reliable transport and a current driver's licence
• Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening
• Full Australian working rights
