Job summary

Workforce International is seeking reliable Production Operators for a bakery and food manufacturing business in Sydney. The role combines hands-on bakery production, general factory duties, and forklift operations.

Applicants must hold a LF Forklift Licence with practical experience and be prepared for an afternoon shift in a permanent full-time position. Ideal candidates are Australian citizens or permanent residents, physically fit for long hours on their feet, and able to lift up to 25 kg.

Qualifications

Process Workers - Bakery with FL experience

We are currently recruiting reliable and motivated Production Operators with a current LF Forklift Licence with atleast 12 months forklift experience to join a well established bakery and food manufacturing business.

This role involves a combination of hands on bakery production, general factory duties and forklift operations.

We are currently recruiting reliable and motivated Production Operators with a current LF Forklift Licence with atleast 12 months forklift experience to join a well established bakery and food manufacturing business.

This role involves a combination of hands on bakery production, general factory duties and forklift operations.

Your Duties Will Include

• Mixing, weighing and preparing bakery ingredients.

• Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment.

• Packing, labelling and preparing finished bakery products.

• Loading and unloading deliveries using an LF forklift.

• Moving raw materials, ingredients and finished goods around the facility.

• Replenishing production lines with ingredients and packaging supplies.

• Stacking, storing and organising pallets in designated warehouse areas.

• Assisting with general production, packing and warehouse duties.

• Completing basic production records and stock movements.

• Following food safety, GMP and workplace safety procedures.

• Cleaning machinery, equipment and maintaining a tidy work area.

• Manual handling and lifting bags weighing up to 25kg.

• Completing daily forklift pre-start checks.

• Working closely with supervisors and other production team members.

To Be Considered, You Must

• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted full-time working rights.

• Be available for permanent full-time employment.

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence with practical operating experience.

• Have previous bakery, food manufacturing, process work, production or packing experience (highly regarded).

• Be physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.

• Be able to safely lift up to 25kg.

• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced bakery production environment.

• Be able to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.

• Have good English communication skills for workplace safety and operational requirements.

• Be reliable, punctual and committed to long-term employment.

• Have a strong focus on food safety, hygiene and product quality.

• Work effectively as part of a team.
