Job summary

Labourpower Recruitment Services Pty Ltd invites applications for a General Hand with a current LF Forklift Licence in Picton. The role supports production, warehouse and housekeeping duties while ensuring safe movement of materials in a flour milling/food manufacturing setting.

The position requires a valid LF Forklift Licence, previous forklift experience, reliable attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Immediate start and day shift from 6am to 2pm are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

Labourpower Recruitment Services is seeking a reliable, physically fit and hardworking General Hand with a current LF Forklift Licence. The successful candidate will assist with general production, warehouse and housekeeping duties while supporting the safe movement of materials and products throughout the facility. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable performing manual labour and working in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to move raw materials, finished products and pallets. MINIMAL FORKLIFT DUTIES
• Load and unload goods, deliveries and trucks as required.
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties.
• Move, stack and organise products and materials in designated areas.
• Assist with bag handling, packing and palletising duties where required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace cleanliness.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Identify and report hazards, damaged products or equipment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with the team.
• Complete manual handling tasks and other duties as directed.

Essential Requirements

• Current and valid Australian LF Forklift Licence.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Previous experience in warehousing, manufacturing or general labouring is preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to workplace safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in a flour milling or food manufacturing environment.
• Appropriate Australian working rights.

Work Environment
