Job summary

Farm Pride Foods Ltd in Keysborough is seeking reliable, safety-focused Casual Process Workers to join our food manufacturing operations. The role is shift-based, with flexible casual shifts to cover production needs on grading floor and product plant.

You will perform grading, processing, packing and palletising, monitor equipment, complete quality checks, record data, and report issues. A current forklift licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a safety-conscious approach.
• Flexible availability for rostered casual shifts on short notice.
• Clear communication and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to manage time, follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety.
• Willingness to perform a range of manual and repetitive production tasks.
• Forklift licence is desirable where forklift duties are required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grading, processing, packing and palletising tasks.
• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment within training.
• Complete product quality, packaging, labelling, date-code and process-control checks.
• Record production, quality, waste, downtime, temperature and stock information accurately.
• Identify, isolate and report non-conforming or potentially contaminated product.
• Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils and work areas per approved procedures.
• Receive, inspect, move and stage raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
• Communicate production status, quality concerns and equipment issues during handovers.
• Operate a forklift where required and appropriately licensed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, chemical handling, manual handling and safety requirements.
