Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Brisbane's Coorparoo site is seeking a Process Worker – Compounding Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. This role supports efficient production of compounded healthcare products. No prior experience required; full training provided; shifts across early to evening hours.

Training/orientation will require flexibility for approx. 1 week with shift times ranging between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Healthcare, manufacturing or warehousing would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematics
  • Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Adhering to Baxter’s Standard Operating Procedures
  • Other duties as required

The Role: Process Worker – Compounding Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Coorparoo Compounding Team on a Permanent, Full-Time basis. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about making a difference and doing something that really matters- is a great team player, flexible, adaptable with a positive attitude.

Our site operational hours are from 06:00 am to 21:00 pm and there will be multiple shifts available in between those times. The main purpose of this role is to support efficient and accurate production of Baxter Healthcare's compounded products.

Shifts available:
  • 06:00 am - 14:06 pm
  • 06:54 am - 15:00 pm
  • 13:00 pm - 21:06 pm

Candidates who are looking to start their career in pharmaceuticals are encouraged to apply as full training will be provided, no prior experience is required.

The role is internally titled as a ‘Compounding Assistant’ and is subject to the following:
  • A pre -employment medical including stringent vision screening (GMP requirement), background and reference checks.
  • Meet compliance and requirements for a mask fit test.
