Job summary

Rotoplas is seeking a physically fit MR driver to deliver our poly rainwater tanks and related products. The role includes loading and unloading, securing loads, and communicating with customers during deliveries across regional NSW areas.

Based in Unanderra, you will handle a range of sites from rural to retail, with some oversize loads. Responsibilities include following planned delivery schedules, using forklift for loading, and ensuring customer satisfaction on every drop.

Qualifications

• MR and forklift licences with experience.
• Competence and experience in strapping and securing large loads.
• Experience and confidence in towing a large trailer.
• Ability to follow planned delivery schedules (every load is different!).
• Physical strength and fitness- some heavy lifting/pushing will be required
• Problem solving ability- not all deliveries go to plan, and some present unexpected challenges!

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, including load and unload.
• Communicate with customers regarding deliveries and any issues.
• Follow delivery schedules and adapt as needed.
• Ensure loads are secured and safely transported.
• Assist with basic customer service to ensure a happy customer at delivery.

Rotoplas is a manufacturer of poly rainwater tanks, delivering to domestic, commercial, and rural sites throughout the Sydney, Illawarra, Newcastle, South Coast, Canberra and Southern Highlands regions.

The Role

We are looking for a physically fit and experienced MR driver to deliver our products, including load & unload, and communicating with customers regarding deliveries.

This Is What We Are After

• MR and Forklift licence, with experience

Other Details to Note

We deliverto a range of customers including rural properties, building sites and retail stores. Destinations will vary from easy drops at stores with forklift unload, through to residential addresses where a bit of creativity may be required to help the customer out.

Our fleet includes MR flatbed trucks and long trailers, and some deliveries include oversize loads.

We are based in Unanderra, NSW, and our deliveries are limited to locations to which return trips can be made in a single day- normally no overnight stays required.

Our workplaces are non-smoking areas at all times, including in vehicles.
