Job summary

Asahi Beverages is seeking Process Technicians to join our Albury facility. You will provide technical and maintenance expertise to keep machinery operating efficiently, while also operating equipment to produce our beverages.

We value enthusiastic, safety-minded team players with hands-on mechanical skills who can troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement. This role offers 12-hour shifts on a rotating day/night roster to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Trade or degree qualifications in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production demands.

Responsibilities

• Drive preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and testing to validate line performance.
• Operate machinery within the facility to produce our materials and beverages.
• Perform daily process area cleaning to maintain GMP and HACCP standards.
• Conduct corrective action maintenance to ensure machine integrity and operating efficiency.
• Perform asset management activities on production line.
• Fault find and troubleshoot to reduce machine downtime.
• Conduct quality tests and calibrate machinery ensuring our product meets high quality standards.

Job description

We have multiple opportunities for Process Technicians to join our team, you will work with our manufacturing operations team in our Albury facility providing technical and maintenance expertise to ensure machinery is operating efficiently whilst operating the equipment at the same time, producing our world-class beverages. This includes machine operating, conducting preventative maintenance, break down assistance, coaching and guiding your colleagues maintaining our high safety and quality standards.

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic team-player with strong mechanical aptitude acquired through either a trades qualification or a personal hobby/interest. If you are eager to learn, possess the ability to problem-solve independently, and actively prioritise safety, we encourage you to apply.

You will need to be available for a 12-hour shift, rotating roster across day and night shifts. This roster supports work-life balance, allowing for a solid consecutive break within your rotating roster.

Highly regarded applicants may also possess the following:

• Trade or degree qualifications in electrical or mechanical disciplines
• Machine operator experience in the FMCG industry
• Experience in a diverse role involving operational and maintenance tasks
• Troubleshooting skills and the ability to use your initiative to investigate machine issues
• A proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives
