Job summary

MinRes is seeking an experienced Process Project Engineer to join the Lithium Projects & Studies team, based at our Head Office with travel to site when required.

Reporting to the Manager Projects & Studies - Lithium, this role will support the planning, coordination and execution of key projects across the Lithium Division, working closely with operational sites, engineering and construction teams, supply services and project services to ensure safe, on-time delivery and alignment with

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications within Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in project engineering or similar roles within the mining or resources industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience supporting project budgets, schedules, contracts, variations and claims.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and support multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across site, corporate and contractor teams.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to use initiative, elevate issues appropriately and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to operational sites as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support across project delivery, including design reviews, technical documentation and coordination of project requirements.
  • Work closely with project teams, contractors and internal stakeholders to support communication, alignment and timely delivery of assigned activities.
  • Assist with tracking project budgets, schedules and resources, identifying variances and escalating issues where required.
  • Support quality assurance activities to ensure project work complies with relevant standards, specifications and procedures.
  • Identify project risks and issues within assigned work areas and assist with implementing mitigation actions.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, technical inputs and updates to support studies and project execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery, efficiency and governance.
  • Engage with Lithium operational sites and cross-functional teams to ensure project outcomes align with business and operational objectives.

The Opportunity

MinRes are seeking an experienced Process Project Engineer to join our Lithium Projects & Studies team, based at our Head Office with travel to site when required.

Reporting to the Manager Projects & Studies - Lithium, this role will support the planning, coordination and execution of key projects across the Lithium Division. You will work closely with operational sites, engineering and construction teams, supply services and project services to ensure project activities are delivered safely, on time and in line with operational, technical and organisational requirements.

This role will allow you to utilise strong technical capability while also working across multiple stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
