Cleanaway Waste Management in Karratha, WA seeks a hands-on maintenance/operator professional to manage general equipment, loading/unloading waste streams, and operating excavators and pumps on site. This full-time role supports safe, efficient waste handling operations in a busy facility.

You’ll need a Class C licence and forklift ticket, with HR or excavator tickets highly regarded. A pre-employment medical and drug test will be conducted.

Formación

• Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in hand tools.
• Experience with fixed plant, industrial plumbing, or treatment plant maintenance is valued.
• Must hold a Class C driver’s licence and forklift licence.
• HR or loader/excavator tickets are advantageous.
• Candidates must be physically fit and pass medical/drug tests.

• Permanent - Full-time position – Karratha, WA
• $600 weekly housing allowance
• $39.53 hour + penalties for all overtime
• Monday to Friday, 6 am to 4 pm with optional Saturday work available
• Flexible start and finish times available

Your New Role

• General equipment maintenance
• Loading, unloading and movement of waste streams on site
• Transferring waste from collection containers
• Operating Excavators and Loaders
• Operation of diaphragm and mono pumps to transfer bulk liquids.
• Transferring waste from collection containers, loading and unloading primarily liquid waste trucks
• General site cleaning and labouring
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Maintaining a safe and clean work site

Your Skills And Experience

• Mechanical aptitude & proficient with hand tools
• Experience with fixed plant, industrial plumbing, or treatment plant maintenance highly regarded
• Class C driver's licence at a minimum
• Forklift licence required
• HR licence, loader, or excavator tickets highly regarded
• Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical and drug test
• Zero harm safety mindset
