Job summary

ACCIONA ENERGY is seeking a Process Engineer to support the safe and effective delivery of complex water infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on process design for desalination and water treatment plants. Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 3 years’ experience in a comparable technical or process engineering role.
• Experience with process design of water, wastewater, and desalination treatment systems.
• Experience with process simulations and membrane projections.
• Demonstrated capability in preparing process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to conceptual, detailed, and value‑engineered process designs for desalination and water treatment plant projects.
• Undertake process planning, modelling, and membrane simulations to support optimised and sustainable solutions.
• Prepare technical calculations, procurement specifications, technical documentation, and schedules.
• Develop and manage digital engineering information including drawing registers, transmittals, change requests, and design documentation.
• Prepare and present D&C cost estimates and design solutions to key stakeholders.
• Support tendering and business development activities when required.
• Support the delivery phase by developing and coordinating project documentation, technical clarifications, site visits, and project meetings.
