Job summary

Grange Resources Tasmania is seeking a Process Engineer / Process Control Supervisor to join our operation in Savage River. You will be a key member of the Quality & Process Improvement team delivering effective process control services to achieve daily operational excellence and improve production capability.

You will report to the Quality & Process Improvement Manager and collaborate with operations and training to ensure competencies are met while driving down unit costs and maintaining

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Production Operations, Process Engineering, Metallurgy or a related field.
• Experience supervising production, operations or maintenance in a heavy industrial/resources environment.
• Strong computer literacy with attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to prioritise tasks and adapt to change.
• Background leading teams at supervisor or superintendent level.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process optimisation and standardisation of shift quality and process control.
• Deliver effective process control services to achieve daily operational excellence and reduce unit cost.
• Collaborate with training to cover training needs for operations teams ensuring competencies are met.
• Support production activities including contractors in the concentrator to achieve quality outcomes.
