We have an opportunity for a Process & Project Lead to drive operational improvement, project readiness and strategic capability uplift across our Control & Operations function.

Reporting to the Manager, Operations Performance, this role is based in Melbourne’s CBD and forms part of our Distribution | Network Operations & Delivery team. Acting as the key interface between Control & Operations and network, digital and business projects, you'll ensure operational impacts are considered early, improvements are implemented effectively, and our control room remains future ready.

What you’ll help deliver

• Lead project engagement and operational readiness activities for network, digital and business change initiatives.
• Drive business and process improvement opportunities from problem definition through to implementation and benefits realisation.
• Lead or support the development business cases, project priorities and capability roadmaps that strengthen control room performance and operational delivery.
• Partner with operational leaders, project teams and subject matter experts to manage risks, dependencies and change impacts.

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

• Experience leading projects, business improvement or operational change within a complex or highly regulated environment.
• Strong problem solving, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence across diverse groups.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into practical solutions, requirements, business cases and implementation plans.
• Background in strategy, consulting, project management, energy, utilities or other operationally complex industries will be highly regarded.
