Job summary

Australian Lamb Colac / Minerva Foods in Colac, Victoria is hiring Meat Process Workers (EA Level 1-5) for full-time and casual roles. Hourly rates are $26.44–$37.46, with allowances; start date anytime between 1 July 2026 and 31 August 2026.

Key duties include trimming, cutting, sorting meat and organs, operating equipment, cleaning work areas, moving carcasses and general labour across chillers, boning room and slaughter floor.

Australian Lamb Colac / Minerva Foods is located in Southwest Victoria, at 1 Tristania Drive, Colac, Victoria 3250. We are looking for 30 Meat Process workers.

General duties of the Meat Process worker include:

• Trimming, cutting, slicing.


• Separating and sorting organs and meat.


• Operation of equipment and machinery.


• Clean and sterilize work areas,


• Moving carcasses


• General labouring throughout chillers, boning room, and slaughter floor.


• Ability and willingness to learn - experience welcome but not required

Applicants must be:

Pay and conditions for these roles fall under the Australian Lamb Colac, Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2022.

The Meat Process Worker (EA Level 1-5 positions. Full-time and casual positions are available. Earning an hourly rate of $26.44 - $37.46 dependent on skill, plus allowances. Commencement Date: Any date between 1 July 2026 and 31 August 2026 (as agreed).

Duration of Employment: Ongoing, subject to the terms and conditions of employment.
