Job summary

Apg-Workforce-1 is recruiting Process Workers for their Cranbourne meat processing site. Roles include boning, deboning, and trimming in the boning room, with day and afternoon shifts available. Immediate start and ongoing work offered, with paid site induction before commencement.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with overtime. Day shift rates start at $33.68/hour (rising to $40.78 after training), and afternoon shift starts at $37.73/hour (rising to $45.77 after training).

Qualifications

• Boning experience in meat industry (Chicken/Beef/Pork) is required.
• Strong knife skills are essential.
• Ability to understand and follow procedures and instructions.
• Works well within a team and communicates effectively.

Responsibilities

• Debone chicken carcasses accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect raw materials against quality specifications.
• Clean and maintain a safe workspace.
• Work with raw meat products in a cold, fast-paced environment.
• Complete repetitive tasks and manual handling up to 15 kg.

We currently have multiple roles available to join an industry-leader in meat processing in their boning room department. They are located Cranbourne and we are looking for experienced candidates for an immediate start across day and afternoon shifts.

Shift times: Monday to Friday + overtime

Day Shift - 6:00am to 2:00pm $33.68 on commencement. $40.78 after successfully completing training

Afternoon Shift - 2:45pm to 11:00pm. $37.73 on commencement. $45.77 after successfully completing training

The role:

• Deboning chicken carcasses accurately and efficiently
• Inspecting raw materials against quality specifications
• Cleaning and maintaining a safe workspace
• Working with raw meat products in a cold, fast-paced environment
• Completing repetitive tasks and manual handling of up to 15kg
• Following all food safety, quality and workplace safety requirements
• We are looking for reliable, safety-focused team members who can communicate effectively, work methodically and maintain consistent standards throughout their shift.

To be successful you will need:

• Proven boning experience in any meat industry- Chicken/Beef/Pork
• Strong knife skills
• Understand and follow instructions and procedures
• Work well within a team environment
• Communicate well both written and verbally
• Able to commit to Monday to Friday and work on-going
• Full work rights to work in Australia without any restrictions
