Job summary

Capital Haus is seeking an experienced Associate Adviser to join our Melbourne-based private wealth team. This on-site, full-time role focuses on investment administration, trade support, client service and regulatory compliance, supporting Private Wealth Advisers across Australia and globally.

Ideal candidates will be highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong interest in markets and investments.

Qualifications

• Interest in developing a career in financial advice.
• Previous experience as an associate adviser or similar role preferred.
• Experience in stockbroking/private wealth or financial advice highly regarded.
• Familiarity with investment platforms and market operations desirable.
• Working knowledge of Xplan desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to Private Wealth Advisers for investment and client portfolio administration.
• Assist with trade execution support, confirmations and settlement processes.
• Prepare and process investment documentation including account openings and platform forms.
• Liaise with advisers, platforms, brokers and internal teams for efficient transaction processing.
• Support compliance and regulatory requirements including record-keeping and file maintenance.
• Prepare advice documentation relating to SOA, ROA and IPS on behalf of advisers.
• Maintain accurate client and portfolio records across CRM and investment platforms, including data in Xplan.
• Assist with reports, portfolio reviews and client correspondence.
• Manage adviser diaries, meeting scheduling, reviews and follow-up actions.
• Manage relationships with internal/external partners and BDMs.
• Respond to client queries professionally and promptly.
• Support broader Private Wealth business and perform ad hoc duties.
