Fornaro in Brisbane’s inner northern suburbs is seeking an experienced, reliable Housekeeper to support a family household on a casual basis at 12 hours per week. Responsibilities

• High-standard cleaning of the home including all spaces – kitchen, bathrooms, floors – vacuuming and mopping, dusting and glass cleaning

• Laundry - washing and ironing
• Dinner prep
• Ongoing household maintenance management and rotating spring-cleaning schedule
• Additional ad hoc tasks and errands as required

We are seeking an experienced, highly reliable and private Housekeeper / Cleaner to support the smooth and efficient running of our family household in the inner northern suburbs of Brisbane. This is a long-term role suited to someone who takes genuine pride in their work, values consistency, and enjoys maintaining a home to a high standard. You will become an integral and trusted part of our family's day-to-day life, playing an important role in keeping our household calm, organised and running smoothly.

Initially the role is being offered on a casual contract basis at 12 hours per week, with scope to increase hours either adhoc and/or permanently dependent on requirements.

Hours are spread across multiple days:

Monday 1.00pm to 6.00pm

Thursday 1.00pm to 6.00pm

Weekend or outside business hours 2 hours fortnightly (timing flexible).

Key responsibilities

High-standard cleaning of the home including all spaces - kitchen, bathrooms, floors – vacuuming and mopping, dusting and glass cleaning

Cleaning and maintaining external living and entertaining areas

Laundry - washing and ironing

Dinner prep

Ongoing household maintenance management and rotating spring-cleaning schedule

Additional ad hoc tasks and errands as required

About you

Experienced and can supply references

Exceptionally trustworthy with a high attention to detail

Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and show initiative

Physically capable of bending, stretching, reaching and walking throughout daily duties

Clear communicator who can flag maintenance issues, observations and requirements to support household standards

Current Queensland Blue Card and recent Police Check to be supplied

Understands the importance of privacy and confidentiality

Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (work-related vehicle use reimbursed at a per kilometre rate)

Comfortable working in a home with a friendly cat
