Job summary

Corrections Victoria is seeking a Prison Supervisor within the Security and Emergency Services Group (SESG). You will lead day-to-day custodial and security operations, manage portfolios such as chemical agents and canines, and report to senior management. A strong focus on safety, governance, and workforce development is required.

You will work flexible hours, including every second weekend and some public holidays, with a base salary plus allowances and five weeks leave per year.

Qualifications

• Understanding SESG operations or experience in safety or security.
• Ability to lead teams and demonstrate strong leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of custodial/security teams and portfolios.
• Deliver security and emergency services across the correctional system.
• Develop and reinforce SESG practices and procedures; provide written reports.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
