On Q Recruitment is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead software across embedded and application platforms for a medical technology company in Melbourne. You will guide architecture, drive development, and ensure regulatory compliance while mentoring a growing team.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary groups, influence technology choices, and help shape next‑generation imaging and diagnostic platforms with end‑to‑end ownership.

Competenze

• 10+ years of software development for medical devices.
• Strong C/C++ and embedded Linux with RTOS experience.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485 or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Experience leading software teams and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional communication.
