Job summary

Egis is seeking a Principal Rail Systems Engineer to lead signalling, train control, telecommunications and systems integration in Brisbane. You will provide senior technical leadership across planning, design, integration, assurance and delivery of complex rail systems.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in specialist rail roles, tertiary engineering qualifications, and track record in regulatory compliance and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

12+ years in specialist rail systems role delivering major infrastructure or digital signalling programs.
Strong understanding of rail operations, signalling, train control systems and systems integration.
Familiarity with EN50126/8/9, CENELEC, AS/NZS standards and Rail Safety National Law.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, integration, assurance and delivery of complex rail systems.
Chair technical reviews and ensure compliance with standards and organisational frameworks.
Coach engineers and drive capability uplift while pursuing new business opportunities.
