The Department of Health in Victoria is seeking a program delivery professional to lead digital transformation initiatives as a shared service with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. You will oversee the procurement and implementation of COTS solutions and reporting platforms, aligning with the Project Delivery Methodology.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT and hold PRINCE2 or PMP certifications.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
• Certifications related to project management methodology (such as PRINCE2 or PMP) or relevant agile delivery is required.
• Agile project delivery, DevOps and project governance experience will be advantageous.

The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of all Victorians. We’re focused on

About the role:

The Program Delivery Unit is responsible for delivering digital transformation initiatives for both the Department of Health (DH) and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) in the capacity of a shared service. This includes the delivery of new or enhanced business solutions, the procurement and implementation of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions, and reporting solutions.

Projects within this unit strictly adhere to the approved Project Delivery Methodology (PDM) and are usually executed by in-house agile teams, in partnership with external vendors, or by procuring services from external system integrator vendors.
