Lime Recruitment is recruiting a Principal Project Manager (Clinical Stream) to lead digital health projects under the Capacity Expansion Program, enabling IT systems like PAS and Digital Medical Records to support ward, bed, and hospital capacity growth across Health facilities in Queensland.

You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, manage comprehensive project plans and budgets, and ensure delivery to schedule and quality standards while aligning with Queensland Health

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering more than one complex IT project, preferably in Queensland Health or a digital medical records environment.
• Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 practitioner, PMBOK or Agile are preferred.
• Strong planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and governance in health IT projects.
• Must have Class C driver licence and meet Queensland Health vaccination requirements (VPD and COVID-19).

Lime Recruitment is currently recruiting a Principal Project Manager (Clinical Stream). In this role, you will lead, manage, and deliver key digital health projects within the Capacity Expansion Program to enable IT systems (such as PAS and Digital Medical Records) to meet ward, bed, and hospital capacity growth across Health facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of the clinical stream of projects across each hospital, coordinating project resources to ensure delivery is to schedule and quality standards.
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, including ieMR support, Clinical Consultancy, Health Information Management teams.
• Maintain close coordination with the Principal Project Manager – Technical to ensure a cohesive team delivery model across broader project teams.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, schedules, scopes, risk registers, deliverables, and organisational change requirements.
• Prepare clear, timely written submissions and briefings on risks and issues for project sponsors, steering committees, and governance bodies. Implement project management best practices in alignment with Metro South Health, Queensland Health, and Queensland Government frameworks.
• Provide expert advice, guidance, training, and mentoring to team members and build project management capability.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in delivering more than one complex IT project from start-up through completion, preferably within a Queensland Health or digital medical record environment.
• Background in Clinical or Health Information Management (HIMs) related project delivery is highly regarded.
• Strong organisation, planning, and resource management skills with the ability to systematically track project outcomes and adapt to changing needs.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to influence and align diverse clinical and technical teams. Relevant Project Management qualifications (PRINCE2 practitioner level preferred, Agile, or PMBOK).
• Must possess an appropriate Class C motor vehicle driver licence and meet mandatory Queensland Health vaccination requirements (VPD and COVID-19).
