Datacom in Adelaide is seeking a Principal Networks Consultant to lead network projects for clients, delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You will assess needs, define plans, and engage with customers to manage risks and scope.

You should have extensive enterprise networking experience and vendor certifications, with hands-on work across Cisco, Palo Alto, Arista, and related technologies. A strong emphasis on documentation and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in networking-focused IT roles with enterprise experience.
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex networks.
• Experience delivering secure and scalable network solutions.
• Strong documentation and design skills for project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop technology solutions for customers within scope, budget, and time.
• Plan resources, deliver proposals, and manage project work.
• Lead consulting teams and liaise with customers during deployment.
• Design solutions that meet project requirements and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Produce high-quality design documents, implementation plans, and operations procedures.
