Grovedale College in Geelong, Victoria seeks an experienced principal to lead planning, delivery and continuous improvement for all students. You will act as executive officer to the school council and ensure resources support high-quality teaching and student outcomes.

The role requires vision, collaboration with staff, families and the local community, and a commitment to accountable governance and system-wide engagement.

• Ability to lead teaching and learning quality and foster a culture of challenge and support.
• Capacity to produce and implement evidence-based improvement plans and drive change.
• Experience in allocating and managing human, physical and financial resources.
• Ability to develop a professional learning community focused on improvement.
• Skill in building positive relationships with students, families and the local community.
• Experience leading and supporting a school community through change and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead the planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement of education for all students.
• Act as executive officer of the school council and support decisions and governance.
• Establish and manage financial systems aligned with Department and council requirements.
• Represent the Department in the school and local community.
• Implement school council decisions and liaison with the broader system.
• Contribute to policy, strategic planning and development across the system.
• Manage and integrate resources and involve staff, students and community in policy and operations.
• Report on achievements of the school and individual students as appropriate.
