Job summary

KBR Technical Services is seeking a Principal ICT / Operational Communications Systems Engineer to lead and shape the delivery of critical ICT/OCS capabilities across major Australian transport infrastructure programs.

You will provide strategic direction, governance, and technical leadership, mentoring engineers and collaborating with clients, project directors, and stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, and future-ready communications networks.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading ICT/OCS or systems engineering delivery for major infrastructure programs.
• Proven track record as technical lead, discipline lead, or engineering manager on complex transport projects.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for ICT and Operational Communications Systems across rail and transport projects.
• Lead development, review, and approval of complex engineering designs, specs, interfaces, and deliverables.
• Act as discipline lead and technical authority for CCTV, PA/VA, Passenger Information, and related networks.
