Woolacotts Consulting Engineers is seeking a Principal Hydraulic Engineer to join the senior leadership team in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. You will lead the hydraulic engineering capability, build strong client relationships, win and deliver projects, mentor a team, and shape the future direction of the practice.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, preferably with hydraulic/building services engineering qualification.
• 15+ years' relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, codes and industry practices.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of hydraulic engineering projects.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Demonstrated business development and project-winning capability.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of project financial performance.
• CPEng, NER, RPEQ or equivalent professional accreditation, or the ability to obtain the appropriate accreditation.
• A proactive, commercially minded and entrepreneurial approach.

• Lead and grow the hydraulic engineering discipline within Woolacotts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and establish new client relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and convert them into successful projects.

• Provide high-level technical advice and engineering solutions to clients and project teams.
• Lead, mentoring and developing hydraulic engineers and other technical staff.
• Work collaboratively with our structural and civil engineering teams to deliver integrated multidisciplinary solutions.
• Manage project resources, programme, budgets and commercial outcomes.
• Support the broader senior leadership team in the continued growth and development of Woolacotts.
• Represent Woolacotts with clients, architects, builders, developers and other industry stakeholders.
• Maintaining high professional and technical standards across hydraulic engineering services.

Woolacotts Consulting Engineers is looking for an experienced Principal Hydraulic Engineer to join our senior leadership team and take a leading role in the continued growth of our hydraulic engineering capability.

The opportunity

As Principal Hydraulic Engineer, you will take a leadership role in the development and growth of Woolacotts' hydraulic engineering capability.

What we are looking for

We are interested in talking to experienced hydraulic engineers who have the technical capability, commercial acumen and ambition to take a genuine leadership role.

Ideally, you will have:

• A degree in Engineering, preferably with a relevant hydraulic/building services engineering qualification.
• 15+ years' relevant professional experience, although we will consider exceptional candidates with less experience.
• Strong technical capability and sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, codes and industry practices.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of hydraulic engineering projects.
• A proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Demonstrated business development and project-winning capability.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of project financial performance.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing engineers and technical staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CPEng, NER, RPEQ or equivalent professional accreditation, or the ability to obtain the appropriate accreditation.
• A proactive, commercially minded and entrepreneurial approach.

Location
