Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in land contamination consulting.
• Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience managing contamination assessments and remediation projects.
• Field investigations: soils sampling, groundwater monitoring, soil vapour investigations, remediation and validation.
• Experience across greenfield and brownfield developments.
• Strong NSW professional network and client relationships.
• Proven business development capability.
• Strong project management and financial skills.
• CEnvP-SC accreditation or equivalent.
• Experience with environmental audit processes.
• Relationships within property, infrastructure, government or development sectors.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Beveridge Williams is expanding its Environmental team inNew South Wales and we're looking for an experienced Senior or PrincipalEnvironmental Scientist / Engineer to help lead the next stage of ourgrowth.

With offices in Sydney CBD and Western Sydney (Oran Park),this role offers flexibility, career progression, and you will get the autonomyand influence of shaping a growing contamination consulting practice, fullybacked by an established, 130 person business in NSW and over 400 people nationally.With an already established pipeline of work in NSW, you won’t be starting fromscratch and will be supported by our highly experienced Victorian environmentalteam (boasting 40+ years of combined Principal experience) who are ready toassist with project delivery, mentoring, and business development.

This position offers the chance to:

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• 8+years' experience in land contamination consulting.
• Adegree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a relateddiscipline.
• Demonstratedexperience undertaking and managing contamination assessments andremediation projects.
• Strongexperience with field investigations including:
  • Soilsampling
  • Groundwatermonitoring and sampling
  • Soilvapour investigations
  • Remediationand validation programs
• Experienceacross both greenfield and brownfield developments.
• Awell-developed professional network of clients, industry contacts andreferral sources within NSW.
• Provenbusiness development capability and a genuine interest in growing a clientportfolio.
• Strongproject management, financial management and commercial skills.
• High-levelverbal, written and presentation skills.
• Theability to build trusted relationships with clients, regulators andproject stakeholders.
• Demonstratedcapability to mentor staff and contribute to team leadership.
• CertifiedEnvironmental Practitioner - Site Contamination (CEnvP-SC)accreditation or equivalent.
• Experienceworking on projects subject to environmental audit processes.
• Existingrelationships within the property, infrastructure, government ordevelopment sectors.
