Akkodis in Canberra is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to provide enterprise-wide oversight of technology strategy, architecture governance, and solution design. You will ensure investments align with business objectives, standards, security, and long-term goals.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to guide strategic decisions, reduce technology risk, and enable sustainable innovation across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver secure, standards-aligned enterprise architecture outcomes.
• Experience with architecture governance frameworks and review processes.
• Experience operating in complex enterprise or government environments.
• Ability to identify and mitigate architectural risks, duplicates, and debt.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide architecture leadership across ICT systems and programs.
• Define and promote enterprise architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps.
• Align technology investments with business strategy and objectives.
• Lead architecture governance through reviews, boards, and authorities.
• Identify and mitigate technical debt, duplication, and risks.
• Guide secure, scalable technology solutions and cloud initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation and ICT investment decisions.
